Half the summer's gone down the sink. Or wherever.

I've probably had worse vacations in which I've done even less than I have in this one, but it still really startled me to find that already a month is behind me, and only one more to go before the new semester starts. This sort of feels like playing a video game and reaching the final level with only one life left in stock... if you know what I mean =~=;

With the impending end of the summer comes the inevitable dilemmas of reality: selecting courses; warming up to old friends, new acquaintances, and all-time enemies; taking exams and putting together reports... the list would probably go on indefinitely. I guess most of the depression comes in large part from the fact that instead of doing anything beneficial to the human race in general or myself in particular, I've mostly wasted away what free time I had... and am thinking of squandering yet more.

Maybe I'm just not the vacation type, but on the other hand I hate school just as bad. Lulz.
